Pushing 8K TV's (Technology)

TV manufacturers are really pushing 8K TV's now. My new 4K tv is feeling inferior, I do not understand the sudden push to go 8K when consumers are only just moving to 4K and where movies on bluray are now only just being updated to 4K UHD :-banghead

I think Japan has or will have an 8K channel so you really need to move there :-lol

Sell everything up and move to a foreign country to watch 8K on one channel in a foreign language :-lol you would have to be ultra nerdy :-D

And how much bandwidth would you need to stream 8K content :-lol 100Mb 150mb? We can just about get a 50Mb service where we are located.
