No, when this happened https://www.onecoolthing.today/index.php?mode=thread&id=8695#p8695 I contacted them many times to get answers and they treated me like shit so I decided never to buy direct from Steam ever again. Since that time the trading cards have amounted in my account and I just happened to look at them today, decided to sell a few and the message that comes up is

"You must have a valid Steam purchase that is between 7 days and a year old with no recent chargeback"

So my trading cards are being held hostage on the basis that I need to give Steam money by buying something direct from them which I will never do.

That sucks, so you need to give them money before you can sell your cards? No other way around it?

If you don't want to give Steam money directly just buy a Steam gift card wallet top up from cdkeys https://www.cdkeys.com/top-up-cards/steam/steam-wallet-top-up-10-gbp

When you enter the code in Steam it should then lift the restriction and you can spend the wallet money on games knowing that you didn't give Steam the money directly.

Would not surprise if in the future they brought this requirement out to continue playing your existing games :-hehe

They could never do that. What, force you to buy a game from Steam each year to continue to have access to games you have already purchased? No way will that happen! It wouldn't stand up in a court of law. What happens when customers have no money to spend? or they can't find a game they want to spend money on? their whole games library that they have already handed money over for becomes Inaccessible :-think :-D
