With the latest firmware Version 2.7 (2018) can you play game roms without the cartridge?
Can I put some roms on the sd card and play them directly from the sd card?
or is the only way to play roms letting the machine dump a cartridge to rom format?

Don't hold me to it because I don't own one but I have read in the past that it can play roms downloaded from the Internet and put on the sd card without needing the cartridge.
Not sure what firmware that was or if they patched that at a later date to be disabled, I don't know.
